With the updated design of AW.NETWORK, we're introducing two new written formats to the site, 'Notes' and 'Primitives', along with videos from our newly launched YouTube channel.

Notes are written by the Autonomous Worlds Network team and encompass announcements and updates regarding our activities (such as this one).

Primitives present building blocks for future Autonomous Worlds. Each piece introduces a 'primitive' – a reusable concept designed to address a specific challenge within the realm of Autonomous Worlds – explored through a practical case study. Intended as inspirational experiments rather than direct templates, the case studies are selected by the Autonomous Worlds Network team with the goal of building a shared library of world fragments that can be recombined into more complex wholes.

Videos feature recordings available on our YouTube channel, which currently hosts all the talks from the 2023 Autonomous Worlds Assembly.

Together with Essays, our long-form editorial pieces, the four formats on the Autonomous Worlds Network website provide a repository of concepts and case studies. We hope that the addition of these new formats will invite more diverse approaches to present and possible Autonomous Worlds.
